The work leapt forward in a new direction recently. These small Prismacolor drawings of the surface of moons were drawn from images sent back by Clementine, the spacecraft sent to photograph our moon, the solar corona and Saturn in 1994. I think of these as preparatory studies that I'll use to develop the new direction with a view to producing larger works.
